A Changing Skyline

Living in Sausalito, even though it’s just for a little while, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to see the many faces of the San Francisco skyline.  These photos were taken at various stages of daylight, all from the same location, and yet each one unique in itself.

Late Afternoon.  1/500sec./f11/iso100

Morning Twilight.  9sec/f11/iso100

Pre Dawn.  76sec/f11/iso100

Midnight.  102sec/f13/iso100

90sec/f11/iso100

At night, as the lights go on in the high rises, and the blinking red and blue beacons of the ships, buoys, and airplanes begin to dart around in the dark skies and waters surrounding the fixed lights of the city, the world changes, and the dynamic nature of San Francisco’s skyline is unveiled.
